The Diversity Dialogues Reading Circles are 6-week book discussions on critical diversity-related topics. These groups can open the door to learning, perspective-taking, discussion, understanding, growth, and unity. Each 6-week book discussion is facilitated by a Legacy Changers, Diversity Dialogues Facilitator who will guide readings and discussions. Erin finds joy in working with individuals and families that are striving to develop the necessary skills to cope with life's greatest challenges. This work is enjoyed in an environment that is open, safe, and full of care. Erin considers it an honor to come alongside each client she engages as they work to master the goals of the journey.
Erin has experience working with children, teens, and adults in a partial hospitalization setting as well as experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a private practice setting. Her professional interests have allowed her the opportunity to journey from the heights of Corporate America all the way to thrills of academia stimuli. Life experience has prepared her to walk the healing journey with many.
Specialty areas include: Family issues, stage of life transitions, codependency, self-esteem, and multicultural & diversity issues. Erin received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in 2018. She graduated from the University of Auburn at Montgomery with a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting in 2003 and from Alabama State University with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting in 2000. Erin is an Associate Professional Counselor under supervision and direction.



Melissa Sherfield, MAMFT, LPC

Melissa Sherfield has been working in the counseling profession for four years providing therapeutic services in psychiatric residential hospitals, private practice, and community-based organizations. She currently specializes in eating disorders with children, adolescents, and young adults at a residential setting. Melissa is enrolled at Walden University seeking a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Her passion is educating, training, and empowering others to pursue their full potential academically, personally, and professionally.



Tyson W. Fant, MA

Tyson Fant has a passion for education and leadership development with more than a decade of experience in higher education. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and a Master of Arts from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has had the privilege of serving in many capacities in the field including Senior Admissions Counselor, Director of Admissions, and Coordinator to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at several colleges in both Georgia and California, including Pepperdine University. Most recently he was the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management at Richmont Graduate University. There he was also a member of the President's Advisory Board on Diversity and Inclusion after serving as the Director of Admissions.
Tyson is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, but is happy to be back in Georgia, his second home. He is a proud husband and is the father to two amazing daughters. Tyson is an advocate of multilingual education, archery, running, and is an avid chess player.
