What is The Family Healing Room?

The Family Healing Room is a guided program designed to help parents and families strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build emotional wellness. Through weekly video lessons on the online platform, workbook activities, and reflective journaling, parents and families learn practical tools for healing and growth.

The program is often offered through local churches, where multiple parents / families participate at the same time, supporting one another in a shared journey of transformation.

Who is this program for?

The Family Healing Room is for adult family members who want more peace, connection, and understanding in their family. It’s especially meaningful for:

  • Parents who want to build stronger relationships with their children.
  • Couples who want to restore or deepen their connection.
  • Adult family members who are ready to break old, painful patterns and build new traditions of love and respect.
  • If you want better communication, healthier habits, and more joy at home, this program is for you.
  • Discuss and reflect on progress within your family group.

Between the time you spend engaging with the online platform and completing activities in your workbook, you can expect to spend about 60 - 90 minutes per week, though many parents / families choose to revisit lessons as they continue their growth journey.

What is the cost of the Family Healing Room?

The cost of the program is $99 per person, which covers your workbook, access to the online platform, and participation in online Zoom meetings with your Family Healing Room Coaches. Workbooks will be delivered to each person via UPS.

Why is this program offered through churches?

Faith communities play a powerful role in helping families heal. By offering The Family Healing Room through the church, parents / families gain not only practical tools but also the support of a community.

As multiple parents / families walk through the program together, they share encouragement, accountability, and hope. This shared experience strengthens both individual parents / families and the broader church community.

What makes The Family Healing Room different from other family programs?

The Family Healing Room combines psychological insight, spiritual grounding, and real-life application. The program doesn’t just tell you what to do. it guides you step by step in how to do it.

The program is:

  • Practical: Skills explained on the online platform are simple, doable, and designed to fit real family life.
  • Community-Oriented: Parents / families grow together, learning from and supporting one another.
  • Transformational: The program focuses on creating lasting change, not quick fixes.
How long does the program last?

The Family Healing Room is designed as a multi-week series, typically lasting between 8 - 12 weeks, depending on the church’s schedule. Each week builds on the one before it, helping parents / families apply what they learn and see real progress over time.--

How are Family Healing Room group meetings held?

All Family Healing Room family group meetings are held virtually via Zoom. This allows families from different areas, and with different schedules, to participate in a convenient and accessible way.

Each week, families gather online with others from their church community to reflect on the lessons covered on the online platform and in the workbook, share experiences, and encourage one another. These sessions are designed to be safe, supportive, and interactive spaces where participants can learn and grow together.

You’ll receive clear instructions and a meeting link before each session, so joining is simple, even if you’re new to Zoom. All you need is a stable internet connection and a quiet space where you can engage fully.

Many participants find that meeting online allows them to open up more easily, balance family commitments, and stay consistent with their growth journey, no matter where life takes them.

What kind of results can we expect?

Parents / families who go through The Family Healing Room often report:

Improved communication at home.

Renewed connection and understanding among family members.

At this time, the Family Healing Room is designed for adults 21 years and older. Because the program includes self-reflection, journaling, and guided family conversations that often address complex emotional dynamics, it is not intended for children or teens under the age of 21.

However, the principles and tools you’ll learn in The Family Healing Room can positively influence the way you relate to younger family members. As adults grow in understanding, patience, and communication, those changes naturally begin to create healthier environments for children as well.

If your goal is to improve your relationship with your children, this program will help you start by developing the mindset and skills needed to model and lead change at home.

Is The Family Healing Room appropriate for families dealing with addiction, trauma, or severe mental illness?

If your family is currently facing those kinds of challenges, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a licensed mental health professional, or addiction specialist who can provide individualized care.
