MEET FAMAILY HEALING ROOM COACHES - JAMES & HOLLI HAWKINS

The Hawkins

Holli and James have been married for 35 years. They have found that trusting God with everything really works.

“I met her and within 9 months were engaged to be married. I believe we were your typical newlyweds learning how to navigate with a life partner and discovering that it takes more than love for each other to
succeed in this journey together. We both thank God for helping us to do what we could not have done alone. He really made the difference and continues to do so. My wife is also my ride or die chick when we go riding on my motorcycle. At this stage of life, we both love traveling both domestically and internationally.”

Holli has been a leader in their church over the greeters and assisted in
youth ministry. For 26 years, they were both over the youth ministry and shared responsibilities that assisted them in making that area of ministry effective and fun. Today, James is over the alter care ministry.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

Holli and James are now empty nesters after raising 2 babies that have become responsible adults. Their oldest (Julian) is 33 years old and he has been an attending hospitalist for the past year in Carterville GA. Their youngest (Jentel) is almost 32 years old and is a voice-over actress who currently lives in Los Angeles California.

“We are really enjoying our granddaughter, who is 2 years old and acts like she's 10. We both work during the day but take advantage of every moment we can to spend time with our son's family and our daughter by teleconferencing. We both are very active in our local church serving in leadership positions.”

Holli spends some of her free time participating in swimming aerobics and line dancing on a dance team. James spends some of his free time engaging with a men's bible group and has very close college buddies that he goes on annual trips with to maintain their brotherhood.

“Before our children went off to college, they too were very active in supporting ministry. We allowed room to explore their personal goals while encouraging them to hold fast to the relationship with God. They reach out to us almost every day.”
